In the year 3070 the Clans were on the verge of vanquishing the Houses when
Quinlan took the Inner Sphere into a new age.  As a clansman, Quinlan broke
away from the infamous Gods of War to help the Inner Sphere defend itself 
against the tyranny of the clans.  With the defection came the blue prints
of the clan mechs and Quinlan's technicans.  In three years the Inner Sphere
turned the tide of the war and had pushed the clans back from their assualt.  
Quinlan took this oppertunity to establish The Order of the Crimson Fist. 

   Together with Big Lar they founded what would become the strongest of the 
houses. In 3076 the CF, joined with other Inner Sphere Houses,made the 
assualt on the clans.  In the One Great Day the clans were driven out of the 
Inner Sphere.  The clans took heavy casualties as well as the houses.  The CF
was brutally scarred but held together in fear of the Second Coming.

  In the wreckage of the final battle TGW-Butcher was found unconcious and 
dying.  Quinlan, remembering the days of training Butcher immediately sent 
for the recovery team. After Butcher regained conciousness Quinlan planned 
to return Butcher to the TGW, but Butcher felt that Quinlan had taken time
in saving his life and that the TGW propoganda spoken about Quinlan must have
been wrong.  Butcher then joined the mighty CF and Quinlan.

  Big LAR, having been a founder, had desided to step down from being 2nd in 
order to allow Butcher the position.  LAR's willingness to resign as 2nd was
noted by Quinlan as an attempt to better CF and to this day LAR is to be 
known as the Patriot of the Crimson Fist.  LAR's loyalty has never been 
questioned all know LAR and Quinlan had become close friends in the founding
of the Crimson Fist.
